Subject: Urgent Request for Replacement Bottom Track Safety Concern

Dear Customer Service Department,

I purchased three mirrored closet sliding door panels (96-inch height, 100-inch wide opening with three panels) from you over a year ago from Lowe's (Reliabilt by Chaparral). Unfortunately, the bottom track has become misaligned and now needs to be replaced.

I have gone to Lowe's many times and spoken with several representatives. I also have a paper trail and supporting documentation of my attempts to resolve this issue. However, I have repeatedly been told that Lowe's does not sell or order the track separately.

These mirrored closet doors were a significant investment (over $1,000 for the three), and at this point, I am very concerned about safety. The misaligned track poses a risk, as someone could easily get hurt if the doors become unstable.

I urgently need assistance in obtaining a replacement bottom track for these three sliding doors. Please advise me on how to proceed so I can ensure the doors are safe and functional again.

I am not a pro at windows, but I can read a level and square. I know they make these windows as cheap as possible, but come on!

At least check your product assembly station settings. I had to get these windows installed before the rain set in, so I was kind of stuck with what I had purchased and time. I guess it's a big issue checking the assemblies for proper lengths and square. I have 2 edges that are square and level and 2 that are not, just on 1 window.

I knew I should have finished my windows with Pella like the rest of the windows, but money dictates. I know I will never recommend Reliabuilt windows.

I spent $3,000 on these reliable windows, and they have been nothing but a nightmare. One window has been replaced twice, which was a nightmare in itself dealing with Lowe's as they did not want to work with me.

I eventually ended dealings with them and the window has continued to break and just fall into pieces. I've used replacement kits on it three times and now the plastic is just disintegrating and falling off in chunks and all the metal parts are falling out. I have rheumatoid arthritis and this window has continued to repeatedly fall on my wrists, and when the metal stripping flies out and rips your hand apart, that's fun too.

I am about to lose my mind and drive to North Carolina to remedy the situation and get a new window. I'm a single woman and now I'm trapped in my house because this is NOT secure.

Renovating an apartment complex required almost 400 replacement windows. They charged us for replacement windows but sent us new construction windows instead.

We noticed this because they wouldn't even remove the flanges. We had to cut them off so the windows would fit. I sent several pictures to Mr. Rep., but nothing was done about it.

He continually blamed his boss. He never gave me his boss's phone number. He claimed he didn't know it, which is a lie! Not to mention, every shipment had either broken glass, a damaged sash, no screen, or an entire window missing.

They lack quality control.

Before we started this project, the Rep. for Reliabilt promised that they would not change the pricing. That was a lie!

The price was increased four times. This company is, by far, the worst I have ever dealt with.
